Bushnell Falcon 7x35 Binoculars with Case, Easy Focus Binoculars for Bird Watching, Hunting, Travel, Sightseeing
  • Fully coated optics for superior light transmission
  • Instafocus System for fast focus on moving targets
  • Non slip rubber grip pads for secure grip in all weather conditions

Build quality/ Construction quality- Bushnell 7×35 Binoculars

Speaking of the build quality or construction quality the pair at its first glance looks like any other pair of binoculars but once you grasp it and it takes hold in your hand there is no looking back.

You would not feel like keeping it down and when you actually experience the optics once you will only look for excuses to stay outdoors and make use of it.

The first time you hold it you can feel the rubberized coating. This is much more useful than you can think of. The coating ensures that it doesn’t slip off when your hands are sweaty, oily, or wet.

Had it been any other material such as glass you would be actually risking your money at your sweaty hands.

The rubber coating also gives a pure black matte look which is very attractive. You see mattes are in trend everywhere right now. Be it beauty products, shoes, phone cases, etc. People aren’t into much of glimmer or glamour but class and performance.

Due to the coating, the body is resistant to any scratches, cuts, or abrasions that might ruin the appearance of your binoculars when you are on an adventure trip.

Another useful feature is the ist Insta-Focus lever which makes the process of magnification much easier and you can catch hold of that moving target much easier.

At just over 21oz and 8.3 inches, long these compact beauties are perfect for all your birding adventures…and way more!

The design of the binocular is so as to fit perfectly in every user’s hands, and hence, you won’t feel tired that easily.

Optical Performance- Bushnell Falcon 7×35 Review

They feature a wide 7x magnification and stunning sharpness across an impressively wide field of view.

Also, When it comes to optical performance the first thing that comes to our mind is the prisms.

Prisms used in Bushnell Falcon 7x 35 binoculars are large Bak7 prisms that are less costly than the Bak4 prism but do the work perfectly fine.

These Bak7 prisms have a large diameter which ensures that enough light passes through the prism and thus results in a better quality image.

The 35 mm objective lens diameter provides for an incredibly bright image with great color rendering, especially when viewing at dusk or dawn where colors other than blue or purple can be easily seen.

Also, this series from Bushnell features multi-coated optics which add up to the better quality of the image.

These binoculars are just the apt pairs you should reach out to when in a hurry since they are focus-free binoculars.

The cherry on the cake being the Insta-focus lever which will make your task of focusing much easier.

Another important factor the buyer considers is eye relief. Fortunately, these binoculars come with 12 mm of eye relief which can be used when the user wants to wear glasses.

People might overlook this feature but for those wearing glasses it is definitely a blessing.

You can focus on objects which are at a distance of about 20 feet which again goes into favor of these binoculars. This feature allows you to observe the bounties of nature without disturbing them.

I appreciate the review! I got this exact pair of Falcons today at an antique store. There were two and neither looked used so I figured for 12 dollars, I couldn’t go wrong and they’re over 32 on Amazon. They looked like they worked great in the store and think I got a good deal on them. Came with lens caps, case & strap (lens caps aren’t very tight). They weigh 1lb, 6oz. They’re not super lightweight, but I feel a sense of quality because of the heft of them. While both pair I tried were the same model and looked identical, I liked the focus on one over the other, so they are not all calibrated the same, but I wouldn’t have known had there not been two to chose from. They appear to be made well and I expect them to last since I won’t be abusing them.
